What time does dinner start??
A hidden jewel where people with peanut allergy can have a nice visit
Good prices , good food, nice people
Good food. Waitress could have been better.
Food is adequate, but OVERPRICED
The food was great, tiny bit pricey but not bad at all. The cream of crab soup was amazing, good size lumps of real crab meat and the flavors were to die for. I could've eaten more of that and been happy. The crab cake sandwich and rockfish sandwich are both good. The french dip looked yummy but I didnt get to sneak a bite of that one. Great food, good views, friendly staff... we will be back
MoreExcellent service. Jen was fabulous! The oyster pot pie was out of this world!!! Will return again soon.
MoreEaten here a couple of times now and will definitely go back when we are in the area. Smoked bluefish was excelllent. Seating area outside is the place to go when the weather is good. Can't beat the views, absolutely gorgeous spot. The bridge going up and down so often is impressive as well.Good parking and wheelchair accessible. Well worth a visit.
MoreEasy place to fuel, low prices, friendly owner!
Great food great location great wait staff
Best Maryland crab soup I've had on the Eastern Shore, many other good seafood selections too...
MoreNo refills on your ice tea here! Pay $3 for a tiny glass of tea and no refills! In addition, a top shelf drink is $14 and very weak. Take a quick boat ride to Red Eye's and get one for $8. We will not be back.
MoreWe were there on one of the first days they were open for the season so the menu and beer selection was limited. I had the crab cake sandwich which was chock full if crab and delicious! Okay to bring dogs here and enjoy the outside seating on a nice day.
MoreStopped in for a couple of beers by the water, great service and wonderful setting in the marina.
MoreFriendly hard working staff, all with deep roots in the Bay Hundred area. They know the area and the food from this region. If you're looking for the true local experience this is one of the best options. Great views of the Tilghman Island Bridge and Knapp's Narrows.
MoreEnjoyed the crab cakes and softshell. Try the Maryland crab chowder. Awesome. Price was competive with all others.
MoreQuaint town and restaurant. Love sitting on the waterfront. Great food. Relaxing. Loved watching the busy bridge.
MoreGreat place to stop. Beautiful views. Great drinks and delicious food.
Sadly dissapointed with our lunch. Dip was served on a pretzel with little crab meat and crab cakes were loaded with mustard and salt. Our server, while courteous and sweet, inattentive. Once our go to place for lunch now removed from the list.
MoreAwesome food and service. Fantastic owners. Will be back!!!!!! "From Rockafeller"
MoreThe bartenders are probably my favorite part about this island.
Great crab cakes, nice stop along Knapps Narrrows.
View from the outside bar and patio is great!
Just went in for drinks and appetizers but nice atmosphere and a good time
Great location, and big things are happening this spring,,,,come find out for yourselves
MoreMy wife and I stopped here a couple of weeks ago. Tellin' ya, this place is a keeper after the same ol' same ol' of St Michaels with it's crowds and sometimes scarce parking! I had the Rockfish sandwich and my wife had a Shrimp Salad sandwich. Both were very very tasty and with the location with the drawbridge, the boats and spacious deck, we're coming back! Especially liked the adirondack chairs deckside (dockside?) to relax in.
MoreCharacters Bridge is your great Eastern Shore restaurant. There's the crabs, the tiki bar on the dock, the draw bridge, the great service and you can dock your boat right there. They helped with the lines and were very friendly. Will be back soon. And oh... You can also drive there.
MoreFood was good. Waitresses had a hard time getting food out, but we did have a large group.
MoreGreat place view is nice and relaxed. Food is always great. Bill and Karen are the owners and they do a great job of welcoming you. Enjoy their company.
MoreThis is a place that we must visit anytime we are down in that direction. Hands down the best spinach salad on the face of the Earth. Small family-owned. Very quaint and you feel like family there!!
MoreLove Denise and Brittney. Our favorite Tilghman stop.
Menu is pretty standard Chesapeake fare and quality is about average, but what makes this place special is you are right beside the busiest drawbridge in the US with a great view of the comings and goings of boats. The indoor dining has huge windows so you can watch, and the outdoor dining and bar are right there on the side of the Knapps Narrows channel.
MoreGreat food. Beautiful setting by the water. Sit outside if you can. Wait staff was great.
MoreGreat service and watching the boats/drawbridge was highly entertaining. Food was good. My favorite was the steamed shrimp. I ordered the fried oyster sandwich and was quite surprised when it was brought to the table. There were three enormous fried oysters that looked like patties! Probably great for oyster lovers, but as a newbie to oysters, it was a little much for me, but it was ok. The crab cake sandwich was tasty as well.
MoreGood food. Crab cake was good
Had a awesome experience in this spot with my friend. The food was served rapidly and the customer service is just awesome. Prices are fair.
MoreAwesome location and we loved our waiter. (Thanks, James!) The crab dip is excellent--in season--with big chunks of lump crab meat. I had fish tacos which were very good and my husband liked his rockfish sandwich, but it was a bit dry, as it was only fish and lettuce on a bun with no sauce. Overall a great time. We will go back over and over!
MoreI come here for Friday Dinner,Food is really good and I like the quaint bar. I had the taco salad last Friday and WOW it was delicious mountains of melted cheese. It was great I am most assuredly having that again when I go back
MoreAfter calling ahead to make sure that the restaurant was wheelchair accessible we drove for an hour and a half only to find that the handicapped ramp was being repaired and out of service. Thankfully there was another restaurant up the road that was accessible.
MoreLove all the people at Characters! Great food and lots of fun especially when the outside Tiki Bar is open. Love watching the boats go through the Narrows.
MoreGreat rock fish!
Just a great time! You will have fun! Great grapefruit crushes!
From the first moment you step in this restaurant the stuff gives you a pleasant feeling. Very hospitable stuff, it is a nice place to to go out with friends and colleagues or with your date. delicious cuisine, creative chief cook and stuff, reasonable price and generous service. Warmly recommended.
MoreFriendly staff. Delicious food especially the vegetable crab soup.
Slow slow slow service. The bar tender is also the waitress. We sat inside and never got followed up on. Food was ok. "Famous" prime rib was good, Served on paper plate and had to use a butter knife. Would not recommend this place to anyone visiting here.
MoreOur waitress was clearly undertrained. My wife found a price of metal in her sloppily built taco salad. My burger was gross. If you're looking for something nice, you may be disappointed
MoreGood but not great food. Staff are less than attentive. Declined since our first visit in 2014
MoreThe beers are cold and the bar tenders are great
Had dinner and a few beers here while fishing the middle Chesapeake. Laid back atmosphere and friendly owner, staff and patrons. Easy walk from marina. Will stop back next summer!
MoreGood food and great view
